Ingredients:

  • 2 pieces of firm and ripe freestone peaches, halved and pitted
  • 4 tablespoons of barbeque sauce, homemade or store-bought

Directions:

Step 1

First off, preheat your grill to medium heat setting, then lightly oil the grate, and prepare the peaches. Wash the peaches under running water, then dry them off with a paper towel. Next, cut the peaches in half, and remove the seed, then score each half of the peaches on their flesh side or slice them diagonally to about a quarter-inch deep, twice in each direction.

Step 2

Drizzle your favorite barbeque sauce over the flesh side of each peach, then use a brush to spread the sauce for an even coat, and set them aside. Place the peach halves on the preheated grill with their flesh side facing up, then let them cook for about 7 to 10 minutes or until the barbeque sauce starts bubbling slightly and the peaches are a little softer than when you first put them on the grill.
