I love green beans and this is one of my favorite ways to cook them, it’s so good that even those who are not huge fans of veggies can eat a whole serving of this in just one sitting. You can make this in larger batches to feed a crowd and you can also tweak the ingredients to your preference, especially if you like your food to be a bit spicy.
Step 1
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil, then blanch the green beans, and plunge them in an ice bath. Meanwhile, in a small heat-proof bowl, melt the butter, then add the brown sugar, seasoned salt, and soy or Worcestershire sauce, and stir them until dissolved and combined. Cut the bacon slices in half, then place a couple of beans in the end nearest you, and roll them over.
Step 2
Place the bundle on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper with its seam side down, then repeat with the remaining ingredients, and brush them with the prepared sauce. Place them in an oven preheated at 400°F, then bake them for about 25 to 30 minutes, and halfway through the cooking time, baste them with the sauce. Serve and enjoy!
