Ever since trying this chicken skewers recipe, I have never wanted chicken thighs served any other way. They taste so good when cooked this way and the flavor is just perfect, you might even be able to finish everything in just one sitting, it’s that delicious.
Sauce
Step 1
Cut each chicken thigh into 4 pieces, then add them to a large bowl, and season them with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion flakes. Drizzle the olive oil, then give everything a good stir until combined, cover the bowl with plastic. Set the chicken aside and allow it to marinate for at least 1 hour up to overnight.
Step 2
Stick the marinated chicken into skewers making sure they are tightly packed with no space in between to ensure maximum juiciness. Place them in the air fryer in batches and cook them at 180°C for about 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly brown.
Step 3
While waiting for the chicken skewers to cook, place a pan on a stove over medium heat, then melt the butter, and add the chopped garlic, chili flakes, black pepper, and grated parmesan cheese.
Step 4
Stir everything and saute until completely combined, then squeeze the lemon over the butter mixture, and give them a good mix to combine. Turn off the heat and set the sauce aside, then check the chicken and flip them over, and then cook them for another 5 minutes. Baste the chicken skewers with the sauce and serve. Enjoy!
