In a small bowl, add minced garlic cloves, finely chopped garlic, 1 tablespoon of butter, 1/4 teaspoon of oregano, 1/4 teaspoon of white pepper powder, and a pinch of salt. Mix until well combined with a spatula.
Take two slices of bread and spread the garlic butter mixture on each slice. Be generous when adding the mixture and make sure that everything is covered.
Place a pan over heat, then add one slice of bread, garlic butter side down. Add mozzarella cheese (grated or sliced), then place the other slice on top, garlic butter side up. Cover the pan with the lid and toast it for 5 minutes on low heat. Make sure to keep an eye on it, as you don’t want it to get burned.
After 5 minutes, flip the bread to the other side. Toast the other side for another 2 minutes still on low heat. After that, the cheese should be melted.
Transfer the toast to a plate and slice in half diagonally. Serve it while warm. Enjoy!
