In a large mixing bowl, add the flour, baking powder, and salt, then whisk them all together until well combined, add the sliced pieces of butter, and mix them into the flour with a pastry cutter or fork until coarse meal consistency. Add the cheese and continue to mix until combined, then pour in the milk, and stir them just until combined making sure not to overmix.

Step 2
Drop large scoops of the batter onto a cast-iron skillet pan greased with butter, then place them in a preheated oven at 450°F, and let them bake for about 18 to 22 minutes or until golden brown. Melt some butter, then add in half a teaspoon of minced garlic and half a teaspoon of parsley, and stir them well before brushing them generously all over the biscuits (this step is optional).
