Here’s a refreshing and cold dessert by Emma’s Goodies on YouTube that you can try at home even if you don’t have a machine. This recipe only calls for 4 simple ingredients and you can make them ahead, then freeze them in your fridge, and serve whenever you like. You can level up this frozen yogurt recipe by adding a flavor of your choice and if you still want to be extra, then a few toppings would do. I love this recipe so much because it’s super easy to prepare and quick to serve, plus, it’s so delicious that I can eat it every day!

Ingredients:

  • 1¾ cups of heavy cream
  • 6 ounces or 1 container of unsweetened Greek yogurt
  • 2/3 cup of fine sugar
  • 1-2 tbsp of milk, after freezing the yogurt cubes

Optional

  • 1 tbsp of cocoa powder, for every 8 yogurt cubes
  • 1-2 tbsp of jam, for every 8 yogurt cubes
  • Frozen strawberries, if not using jam

Ingredients:

Step 1

In a measuring cup of a large mixing bowl, add the heavy cream, yogurt, and sugar, then give them a good stir until well combined, and pour them into ice cube trays or silicon molds evenly. Place them in the refrigerator and allow them to freeze until solid. Once ready to serve, transfer the frozen yogurt cubes into a food processor, then add 1 to 2 tablespoons of milk but not too much or it’ll become a milkshake, and pulse for about 1 minute until creamy soft serve consistency. Make sure not to pulse too long or too much or it will be runny. Add toppings of your choice, then serve immediately, and enjoy!
