I have tried a lot of bread before, but one of my favorite go-to recipes is this one by Yeast Mode on YouTube because of how simple and easy it is. I’ve never done a condensed milk bread before so this is definitely an amazing experience for me and I’m glad it did not disappoint because it was so delicious that I just couldn’t stop eating. I even had to make it again the next day because I just can’t have enough of it, it was that delicious.
Dough
Glaze
Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, add the fresh milk, condensed milk, and instant yeast, then give them a good whisk, add the all-purpose flour and salt, and continue to mix them all together until dough forms. Add the butter, then mix and fold them until the butter is absorbed, transfer it to the counter, and knead it until smooth and elastic. Once the dough is ready, shape it into a ball, then place it in a well-oiled bowl, and turn the dough around until coated with the oil as well.

Step 2
Cover the bowl, then set it aside, and let the dough proof for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size. After the dough has risen, punch it to degas, then flatten it with a rolling pin into a rectangle with approximately 1cm thickness and it should be the same width as the loaf pan, and then start rolling the dough into a log as shown in the video. Place the dough roll into a piece of parchment paper, then cut the dough into 1-inch thick pieces, and lift it by the paper to transfer it to a greased or oiled loaf pan. Tuck in the edges of the dough, then cover the loaf pan, and allow it to rest for about 45 minutes.
Step 3
After resting the dough, brush the top with beaten egg until well coated, then place it in a preheated oven, and allow it to bake for about 180°C or 356°F for about 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown, the baking time may vary depending on your oven. Once done baking, let it cool down, then unmold it, and prepare the glaze mixture. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter and condensed milk until uniform and combined, then brush it all over the top of the warm bread, and serve. Enjoy!
