Meatballs are very delicious and there are many different ways that you can cook them. Among all the recipes that I’ve tried, my favorite is this firecracker chicken meatball by MF Cookin‘ on YouTube. It’s very quick and easy to prepare which makes it a perfect last-minute appetizer or snack idea, the ingredients are also pretty simple and common, and most of them you might already have in your kitchen.

You can modify the ingredients or seasoning according to your preference, you can use any ground meat that you want instead of chicken and you can even add some cheese inside the meatballs to make them more delicious. If you’re still not convinced, then just let the visual of the firecracker chicken meatballs do the talking, and watch the video tutorial below now.
Step 1
Dice the yellow onion, minced the garlic cloves, and chop the green onion and parsley. In a large mixing bowl, add the ground chicken, eggs, minced garlic, yellow onion, green onion, parsley, and breadcrumbs, then season them with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, and crushed red pepper to taste. Mix everything until well combined, then shape them into meatballs, and place them on a baking sheet. Put the baking sheet with meatballs in an oven preheated at 375° F, then let them heat for about 15 to 20 minutes, and flip them halfway through the cooking time.
Step 2
Meanwhile, prepare the sauce, place a saucepan on a stove over medium heat, then add the hot sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, ¼ teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of crushed red pepper, and 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper. Bring them to a simmer for about 5 minutes and give them a good stir to combine, then toss the meatballs in the hot sauce, and serve. Enjoy!
