This delicious and sweet treat recipe idea by Pastry Living with Aya on YouTube is perfect to serve at parties, gatherings, holidays, or even on an ordinary day, and what makes this even better is that you can give it as a gift, too. These chocolate snowball cookies are rich and sweet and they are also filled with toasted pecan nuts that add a fun and delicious texture which makes them irresistibly good. You can definitely do this perfectly even on the first try because the steps and instructions are super easy to follow and this recipe is fail-proof, too.
Step 1
In the bowl of a stand mixer, add the butter, powdered sugar, salt, and almond flour, then beat them all together starting on low speed to not scatter the ingredients, and gradually turn up the speed until the mixture is fluffy and combined. Scrape the sides of the bowl as well as the attachment of the mixer, then in a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder and all-purpose flour until uniform and combined, and then add it to the batter. Next, add the chocolate chips and chopped toasted pecans, then give them a good mix until evenly incorporated and combined, and roll the batter into 3cm or 1.2 inches balls.

Step 2
Place them on a Silpat lined baking sheet in a single layer making sure that they are spaced evenly, then place them in a preheated oven, and allow them to bake at 170°C or 340°F for about 23 to 27 minutes. You might want to adjust the baking time depending on the size of the chocolate balls, then once done baking, remove them from the oven, and allow them to cool at room temperature. Once cooled completely, gently cover them with powdered sugar, then serve, and enjoy!
