We can all agree that donuts are incredibly delicious, and just the fact that it has a lot of different flavors that you can try and choose from makes them more amazing than it already is. But, personally, I love the trimmings or the holes that are removed from the center of each donut and then turned into balls more than the donut itself. I just find them more fun and yummy, so I went and looked for a recipe that can teach me how to make those donut balls without having to make a whole donut. Luckily, I found this easy-to-make and truly delightful recipe by The Hillbilly Kitchen – Down Home Country Cooking on YouTube that also comes with three different and amazing glaze flavors.
Muffins
Cinnamon Sugar Glaze
Milk Vanilla Glaze

In a large mixing bowl, add the self-rising flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar, then whisk them all together until well combined, and then add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla. Continue to whisk them together until incorporated, then grease a mini muffin pan with nonstick cooking spray or butter, and scoop the batter until halfway full making sure not to overfill. Once done filling the mini muffin pan, place them in a preheated oven at 375°F for about 15 minutes, then unmold them, and allow them to cool down while preparing the glaze. For each glaze, simply mix together the dry ingredients first, then add the wet ingredients, and continue to mix them until incorporated and fully combined. Dip the donut muffins into each glaze, then place them in a sheet of parchment paper or plastic, and allow the glaze to fully set before serving. Enjoy!
