If that’s the case and you’re like me, then enjoying your food is impossible because how can you not give in to those puppy eyes? However, giving them the ice cream you’re eating is also not a very good idea because it’s not intended to be consumed by dogs and might even be harmful to them. What you can do instead to make them experience eating ice cream is to purchase a dog ice cream, but if you find that too expensive or a hassle, then try making them on your own instead!

Yes, you can make a homemade ice cream that’s safe for dogs and you wouldn’t even need a lot of ingredients, and they might even be available in your kitchen. All you need is a banana, plain or vanilla yogurt, and peanut butter. But, you have to remember to use the right peanut butter, a plain or regular one would work, because some peanut butter contains xylitol which is a sugar substitute found in lower or sugar-free ones, and that is very dangerous to dogs. Ingredients for Dogs’ Ice Cream:

• 1 banana
• 4 tbsp of peanut butter
• 12 oz of plain or vanilla yogurt

How to Make Ice Cream for Dogs:

Step 1

Add the banana, peanut butter, and plain or vanilla yogurt to the blender, then blend them together until smooth and combined.

Step 2

Scoop the mixture into the silicone mold and fill it nicely, then place the silicone mold in the freezer.

Step 3

Allow it to freeze for about 2 hours, then serve it to your dogs. You can also store it in a Ziploc bag and in the freezer for up to three weeks!
