If you want to decorate your house but you’re on a budget and don’t want to spend a lot of money on expensive materials, then try making a simple decor using only yarn with this project idea by Olivia O’Hern on YouTube! This ornament is so easy and quick to make that you can probably make a couple of these in just a few minutes, plus, you can hang it anywhere, use it for your garland, or decorate your tree with it. Whichever it is you decide on, you’ll surely love them either way, so learn how to easily make this now by reading the written instructions down below, and while you’re at it, watch the video tutorial as well to see exactly how it’s done!
Step 1
First, create your heart template, then trace it on a piece of cardboard, and cut out the shape nicely. Using your thumb, hold one end of the yarn on the cardboard, then wrap it around the cardboard heat going to the same motion and direction for a few times before changing to another direction as shown in the video.

Step 2
Once the cardboard is completely covered with the yarn, cut off the excess, then tuck the end inside through the heart tightly, and sew a piece of looped yarn in the middle of the heart. Once done, repeat the steps to create as many yarn hearts as you want, then hang them using the loop sewn in the center, and you’re done!
