Making wreaths have always been a fun activity for me, and what better way to welcome spring than making lovely and blooming decor just like this one by This Southern Girl Can on YouTube? This DIY project is super easy to make and uses a bandana for its petals, the color of this wreath is popping, and the result looks so beautiful. Don’t miss out on this project and learn how to make this now with this easy-to-follow video tutorial.
Step 1
Lay the wreath on top of the mesh, then trace the center down on it, and cut the shape out. Flip the wreath over, then place the mesh at the center, and zip tie the edges on the wire of the wreath, make sure to cut off the excess tail of the zip tie once done. Open the bandana up but keep it folded in half lengthwise, then fold it in half crosswise nicely, and crease the midpoint on the folded side before opening it up once.

Step 2
With the folded side near you, draw a diagonal line from the midpoint going towards the opposite corner using a straight tool or ruler, then do the same with the other side, and lastly, draw a straight line at the center. Cut through those lines, making sure to not pull them apart from each other, then take one petal set, hold the center tip with one hand, and using your other hand, gather the long side together at the center as shown in the video, trim the excess fabric at the ends as well.
Step 3
Place the petal on top of the mesh, then hold it down in place with a zip tie tightly, and continue the same process with the rest of the bandana pieces until the edges of the center of the wreath are covered. Grab the half sphere, then hot glue the blanket yarn all the way around until completely covered, and hot glue it on the center of the wreath or use a pipe cleaner instead. Cut the excess piece of wire off the bee stake, then adhere the bee anywhere in the wreath you like using glue and/or E6000 adhesive, and then hang your wreath!
