This DIY bag is very stylish and would make as a great gift idea to loved ones as well. Once you’ve learned the basics of making this bag, you can go ahead and personalize your version by using any other fabrics that you want or adding more embellishments that you prefer. Watch the video tutorial below now to learn how.
Step 1
Cut the fabrics to size, then lay the lining with its wrong side up, and place the interfacing on top. Iron them to fuse together and set the pieces aside, then lay the main fabric and denim with their wrong side up, and fuse an interfacing fabric to each of them as well.
Step 2
Get a main fabric piece, then fold it and mark it as shown in the video, and connect the markings to form the shape of the bag. Trace it onto the denim and remaining main piece, then cut the main piece for the pocket, and trace them onto the lining pieces.
Step 3
Stitch the denim pockets to the main fabric pockets, then proceed to stitch the pieces together, and insert the main bag into the lining bag. Clip the edges together, then stitch around leaving a gap, and turn the entire bag right side out. Press the seams nicely, then prepare the handles, and attach them to the bag.
