Handmade gifts that are thoughtful and memorable are always the best gifts in my opinion, I love making them as much as I love receiving them, and one of my favorite gift ideas is this photo cube by Tanu Creative on YouTube! This fun project is so easy to make, so clever, and so much better than giving an ordinary photo as a gift. You only need a few simple materials to make this and you can probably finish a couple of these within just a few minutes.
Step 1
Lay the paper, then mark each side every 4cm or 1.5 inches, then connect those dots into lines to make a grid, and mark an “x” on 3 out of 4 blocks on each longer side leaving the center as is. Cut out the boxes that are marked “x”, then use a scoring tool, score the lines, and fold them over for better crease before forming the piece into a box shape. Repeat this process 7 more times, then position the boxes into 2 rows of 4, and tape every 2 boxes together as shown in the video.

Step 2
Start taping the boxes together with the box right next to them, then fold them over to form a large box, and tape the sides. Number the boxes so you know where the photos will go on every fold of the box, then cut the photos into 4cm (1.5 inches) square pieces, and adhere them on each block piecing them together until the photos become complete again.
