Paint all cinder blocks with primer using the paint roller. Once done, let them dry completely. Next, coat them with your desired paint color. Let them dry before going to the next step.
Connect two cinder blocks using silicone adhesive, then glue another layer on top. For the third layer, lay the blocks with holes on the sides. Lastly, add 1 block vertically to the right side – the openings should face the sides. Make another one for the other side. Let the adhesive dry for about 24 hours or more days to fully cure. It depends on how thick the sealant is.
Sand the 4 x 4s and coat them with the spar urethane three times using a synthetic bristle brush. This coat is used to waterproof the wood and protect it from sunlight. Once done, let them dry completely.
Position the two sides to how long you want them to be. It is better to lean the bench on a wall for more support. Insert the coated wood into each hole on each side.
Place the three seat cushions and three back cushions. After that, you are done. Now you can sit and relax.
