I’ve always wanted a pretty moon mirror but I just can’t find one that is exactly what I’m looking for until I saw this brilliant DIY idea on YouTube by COLLEEN CHAN. I immediately knew that I had to give it a try at home, so I ran to the nearest Dollar store to get all the supplies that I will need, and I started working on the DIY mirror. It was so worth it because the mirror turned out to be so pretty and you wouldn’t even notice that it was handmade, it was that gorgeous.
Step 1
Use a round object or use the bubble wrap used in the mirror to mark the crescent moon, simply lay it on top of the mirror, then leave a space at the side as shown in the video, and mark it using the clay.

Step 2
Apply and spread the clay on the side using the end of a toothbrush making sure to use the markings as the guide, then while the clay is still moist, shape the craters in random sizes using a circular motion, and then let the clay dry overnight.
Step 3
Once the clay is set and hardened, mix some black paint with white, then apply it all over the clay until covered, and make sure to paint the edges nicely to blend the clay with the mirror. Allow the paint to dry, then paint the craters silver to add depth, then let it dry completely, and hang the mirror.
