  • Patterned shower curtain
  • Clothespins
  • Iron
  • Yardstick
  • Marker
  • Scissors
  • Pom-Pom Trim, optional
  • Quick-Dry Fabric Glue

Step 1

Fold the shower curtain into quarters, then keep the loose edges together using clothespins, and iron the folded edges nicely. Measure and mark 30 inches on one side of the shower curtain, then move the yardstick in an arc across the towel to mark a quarter circle, and then carefully cut along the line.

Step 2

Unfold the shower curtain and you should end up with a 60-inch circle. Dab some quick-dry fabric glue on the edges of the circle, then attach the pom-pom trim and keep adding glue as you go until you’ve covered the edges all the way around. Leave it for about 24 hours to dry completely, then wash the blanket, and let it dry before bringing it to the beach.
