I get excited when it comes to quilts and I can still remember one of the first projects I tried, one of them is this pretty dart quilt by Jordan Fabrics on YouTube. This was very simple to put together and probably one of the easiest projects ever. It was rather relaxing to make and the final output looks very neat and organized. I would definitely make try making this again using different sets of fabric, if you want to give it a try, too, then go ahead and read the instructions down below, and watch the video tutorial as well for more details.

Directions:

Step 1

Cut the fabric pieces as required in the pattern, gather and arrange the set of fabric to form a strip, sew them together, and give it a nice press with the seam going toward the darker fabric. Repeat the same process for the rest of the fabric sets, then you’ll have a  total of 25 rows, and arrange these rows in the order that is shown in the diagram.

Step 2

To complete each row, add the fabric A rectangles either to the left or right or one on each end, then sew them together, and press nice and flat. Now, assemble the pieced rows along with the sashing strips by placing a sashing strip in between each row, and sew them together as you go. Next, sew the borders, then press nicely, and proceed to baste, quilt, and bind.
