I frequently host small gatherings, so I always look for instant dishes I can make to serve to my friends. While browsing Youtube the other day, I found this crockpot spaghetti recipe from Weelicious on Youtube. I’m so excited to serve this instant pasta dish at my next gathering; I’m sure everyone will love it! Ingredients:

  • 1 lb of lean ground beef, turkey, or chicken
  • 1/2 onion, finely diced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 2 26 oz jars of pasta sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 lb spaghetti noodles
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Directions:

Step 1

Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a large pan over medium heat, then add the diced onion, ground beef, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp of garlic powder. Mix and cook for six minutes just until the meat starts to change color. Set aside. Next, in your crockpot, add a 26 oz jar of pasta sauce and 1 cup of water. After this, layer 1 lb of spaghetti noodles (break in half), followed by the meat mixture. Sprinkle 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese over, then another jar of the pasta sauce.

Step 2

Once done adding the ingredients, cover the crockpot, and set it to two and a half hours on high heat. After cooking, garnish it with any fresh herb you like, or add more cheese. Serve and enjoy!
