There are a lot of recipe ideas out there that you can browse through the internet which can help you prepare your meal. However, not all of them are easy to make and they sometimes consist of numerous ingredients. Luckily, I found this amazing recipe by The Stay At Home Chef on YouTube that is super simple to prepare and requires only a few ingredients that you can easily find in the nearest store if they are not available in your kitchen yet.

Ingredients:

  • 2 racks of baby back ribs or pork spare ribs
  • 2 cups of barbecue sauce

Seasoning Mixture

  • 1 tbsp of smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1 tsp of black pepper
  • 1 tsp of onion powder
  • 1 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1 tsp of ground mustard

Directions:

Step 1

First, remove the membrane off of the back of the ribs, simply insert your fingers around the side until it loosens, then rip it off, and set the ribs aside. In a small bowl, add the smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and ground mustard, then stir them together until well combined and uniform, and pour this mixture all over the ribs. Rub the seasoning mixture into the ribs until nice and covered, then place a crockpot liner inside the crockpot, and place the ribs inside.

Step 2

Reserve ½ cup of barbecue sauce, then drizzle the remaining 1½ cups all over the ribs in the crockpot, put the lid on, and cook on a low setting for about 8 to 10 hours or until fork tender. Once done cooking, remove the ribs, then transfer them to a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, and add the reserved barbecue sauce all over the top. Place them under the broiler, then let them broil for about 3 to 5 minutes or until the barbecue sauce has started to become bubbly and caramelized, serve, and enjoy!
