Meat Dredging Mixture
Stir-Fried Veggies
Step 1
Cut the round steak into thin pieces, then pound them well with a meat tenderizer, and set them aside. In a narrow dish, add the flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika, then whisk them all together, and start dredging the steaks until both sides are evenly coated shaking off all the excess. Place a large skillet on a stove over medium-high heat, add a tablespoon of oil, then place the coated steak in batches to not overcrowd the pan, and let them sear for about 3 minutes on each side until nice and golden brown. Transfer the cooked steaks to a plate, then set them aside, and in the same skillet pan, add a tablespoon of cooking oil followed by the chopped carrots, celery, and onion.

Step 2
Season them with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika, then add the diced tomatoes and broth as well, and give them a good mix until well combined. Now, pour this mixture into the crockpot, then add in the cooked steaks, and push them down until submerged in the liquid and the vegetables. Cover the crockpot with the lid, then let them cook over a low setting for about 8 to 10 hours or a high setting for about 6 to 8 hours until the meat and veggies are fork tender. Serve it over rice, mashed potatoes, noodles, or any of your favorite dishes, and enjoy!
