Crispy fried ravioli is super easy to prepare and is best served while still warm and crispy. You wouldn’t even need a lot of ingredients to make this dish. You can also season it to your preference or use whatever you have available. Learn this recipe by Kevin Is Cooking on YouTube now.
Step 1
Prepare a large deep skillet or a deep fryer, then add the oil, and preheat it to 350°F. In a shallow dish, add the panko breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning, then mix until uniform and combined, and set aside.
Step 2
In a separate bowl, add the egg and water, then beat them until combined, and pour it over the ravioli pasta in another bowl. Toss them until evenly coated, then dredge each piece of ravioli in the breadcrumb mixture pressing it firmly to let the breadcrumbs stick to the pasta. Place them on a wire rack, then check the oil temperature, and start frying them in batches.
Step 3
Let them cook for about 2 minutes turning them over to make sure they cook evenly, then remove them from the hot oil, and place them on a wire rack to drain off the excess oil. Allow them to cool slightly, then serve with marinara sauce on the side, and sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
