If you’ve got no time or are too tired to prepare for a meal, then try making this pasta, and I’m sure you’ll love it. You can also add in some leftover chicken, ham, or sausage if you want, and if you like a little bit of kick, then you’re more than welcome to add in some spice.

Ingredients for Creamy Lemon Pasta:

  • 1-2 cloves of garlic
  • lemon
  • 3 tbsp of butter
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • 2/3 cups of heavy cream
  • Salt, to taste
  • 280g or 9oz of pasta
  • ¼ cup of parmesan cheese
  • Parsley, for serving

Step 1

Place a large pot on a stove over medium-high heat, then fill it with water, and add a tablespoon of salt. Bring it to a boil, then while waiting prepare the sauce, and once the water is ready, cook the pasta according to the package instructions.

Step 2

Reserve 1 cup of the pasta cooking water for later, then drain off all the water left on the pasta. For the sauce, place a pan on a stove over low heat, then heat the olive oil, and cook the minced garlic for about 2 minutes.

Step 3

Add the butter and lemon zest, then let it melt before adding the lemon juice, heavy cream, and salt, and then bring it to a boil. Add the drained pasta to the sauce, then pour in the reserved pasta water, and cook them for a minute or more tossing them to combine. Serve and enjoy!
