This monkey bread recipe by The Carefree Kitchen on YouTube is unlike any other monkey bread you’ve ever tried. It has the perfect combination of tart and zest that is well-balanced by the delicious caramel sauce.

It’s also very easy to make and I bet that you can do this perfectly even on your first try. You don’t have to make the dough from scratch because you can use canned refrigerated biscuits instead. Watch the video tutorial below to learn how.

Caramel Sauce
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F, then grease a bundt pan with nonstick cooking spray, and set it aside. In a small bowl, add the sugar and cinnamon, then mix them until uniform, and then mix in the orange zest, set the mixture aside.
Step 2
Open the biscuits and separate them into individual pieces, then cut each piece into 4 equal parts, and roll each piece in the sugar mixture one at a time until well coated. Transfer them to the prepared bundt pan layering it with the cranberries.
Step 3
Place a medium saucepan on a stove over medium heat, then melt the butter, and add the brown sugar, cream, and salt. Bring them to a boil, then stir continuously while cooking at a rapid boil for 1 minute, and remove it from the heat.
Step 4
Add the vanilla extract and give them a good stir, then let the sauce cool for at least 1 minute, and pour it over the cinnamon sugar-coated biscuits. Put the monkey bread in an oven preheated at 350°F, then let it bake for about 30 to 35 minutes.
Step 5
Once the edges are golden brown and the dough is cooked through, remove the pan from the oven, then let the bread sit for about 10 minutes before inverting it to a large plate, and then serve warm. Enjoy!
