Prepare the baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
Add 1/2 cup of mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley, 1 tablespoon of mustard, 1 1/2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon of zest, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of hot sauce, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper, and 1 egg in a large mixing bowl. Whisk until well combined. Add the crab meat and panko, then gently fold until blended.
Shape the crab mixture into 6 patties (1/2 cup each) about 3 inches wide and place them on a lined baking sheet. Cover with cling wrap and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes or up to 6 hours.
Add a tablespoon of oil to a large skillet and place over medium heat. Once hot, add some of the crab cakes, and cook until golden brown for about 3 minutes. Gently turn them and cook the other side for 3 minutes more until crispy.
Serve right away with tartar sauce, lemon wedges, and chopped parsley. Enjoy!
