This crab cake recipe by Preppy Kitchen is one of the easiest dishes you can prepare at home. It has a crispy texture and is full of delicious crab flavor! It’s perfect on its own but even more delicious with the tartar sauce and a little bit of lemon juice. Serve it with salads, grilled veggies, or sweet potatoes for a wonderful meal. Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
- 1 1/2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon of grated lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon of hot sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper
- 1 large egg
- 1 pound of lump crab meat
- 1/2 cup of panko breadcrumbs
- vegetable or canola oil
- tartar sauce

Instructions
Step 1:
Prepare the baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
Step 2:
Add 1/2 cup of mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley, 1 tablespoon of mustard, 1 1/2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon of zest, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of hot sauce, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper, and 1 egg in a large mixing bowl. Whisk until well combined. Add the crab meat and panko, then gently fold until blended.
Step 3:
Shape the crab mixture into 6 patties (1/2 cup each) about 3 inches wide and place them on a lined baking sheet. Cover with cling wrap and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes or up to 6 hours.
Step 4:
Add a tablespoon of oil to a large skillet and place over medium heat. Once hot, add some of the crab cakes, and cook until golden brown for about 3 minutes. Gently turn them and cook the other side for 3 minutes more until crispy.
Step 5:
Serve right away with tartar sauce, lemon wedges, and chopped parsley. Enjoy!
