Bread is a food I’ll never get tired of eating and I’d gladly eat any time of the day! It is so yummy and can be paired with anything, from spreads, jams, dips, or even fillings, whatever you can think of will only make bread better than it already is. One of my all-time favorite recipes is this one by Savor Easy on YouTube because it makes one of the softest and tastiest breads I’ve ever tasted. Try it out now and see for yourself!
Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, add the water, instant yeast, egg, milk powder, and honey, then whisk them all together to combine, add the flour and salt, and fold them together until incorporated and a dough forms. Add the unsalted butter, then knead the dough until fully absorbed, and transfer it to a lightly floured counter. Continue to knead and slap the dough until smooth, then shape it into a ball, and coat it with oil before placing it in a bowl.

Step 2
Cover it, then set it aside, and allow it to rest for about 40 minutes or until double in size. Punch the air out, then transfer the dough to a lightly floured counter, and flatten it to a rectangle before cutting it into 9 equal pieces at about 60 grams or 2.1 ounces each. Shape each dough into a round smooth ball, then place them in a 9×9-inch square pan lined with parchment paper.
Step 3
Next, cover them for about 25 minutes or until double in size, and then brush them generously with eggwash. Place them in a preheated oven at 170°C or 340°F (convection) or 180°C or 350°F (conventional), then allow the bread to bake for about 18 to 0 minutes or until golden brown. Once done baking, brush the top with salted butter, then unmold, and serve. Enjoy!
