Step 1: Waffle
In a large mixing bowl, add the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt, then mix them all together until well combined and uniform, add the milk, canola oil, and eggs, and then mix them again until fully combined. Grease your waffle pan with nonstick spray, then scoop up the batter, and cook until nice and golden.
Step 2: Chili
In a pan over medium-high heat, cook and brown the ground beef along with the chopped onions, then in a saucepan over medium-high heat as well, add the tomato paste and tomato sauce, and bring them to a boil for a bit before adding the kidney beans and chili seasoning mix. Mix them all together to combine, then reduce the heat to medium, and add the drained cooked meat. Season them with sugar, then mix them to combine, and remove from heat.

Step 3: Serve
Place the waffle on a serving plate, then scoop a generous amount of chili on top of the waffle, and top it with cheese, cream cheese, and chopped green onion. Serve and enjoy!
