Dunkin Donuts’ famous choco butternut donuts can now be served at your home with this recipe by Savor Easy on YouTube! This donut is probably one of my favorite flavors because I just love the orange crumbly stuff that it’s coated with. I would always order this whenever I pass by their store. But with this recipe, I think I’ll just make it at home from now on.
Donut
Glaze
Butternut streusel
Step 1
Prepare the donut. In a large mixing bowl, add the sugar, flour, baking soda, and cocoa powder, then whisk them together until uniform and well combined. In a small mixing bowl, mix together the milk, eggs, and vanilla until well combined, then pour everything into the flour mixture, and mix just until combined. Add the melted butter and continue mixing until incorporated but do not overmix, then transfer to a piping bag, and pipe onto silicone donut mold.

Step 2
Bake them in a preheated oven at 180°C or 356°F for about 15 minutes, then unmold gently, and let cool completely. Next, prepare the glaze, simply combine the icing sugar, milk, and vanilla until uniform, then glaze each donut once cooled, and dredge in butternut streusel. To make the butternut streusel, melt the butter in a saucepan, then add about 2 squirts of orange food dye, sugar, flour, nutmeg powder, and salt, then mix them all together until it reaches a sandlike texture. Serve and enjoy!
