If you love bounty bars or those chocolate-coated coconut bars, then you’ll love this copycat recipe that is as delicious as the original! This sweet treat by Savor Easy on YouTube is the perfect dessert for those who love candies with some texture or surprise on the inside. It only requires 3 simple ingredients and takes a few minutes to prepare this. Try it now!
Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, add the coconut and condensed milk, then mix them together until incorporated and well combined, and set it aside. Grease a 5×5 baking dish by brushing it with oil or simply line the baking dish with parchment paper, then transfer the coconut mixture, spread it evenly, and press it down until compressed and smooth. Place it in the refrigerator and let it freeze for at least 2 hours. Break the chocolate into small pieces, then add them to a completely dry stainless bowl, and place the bowl with chocolate over simmering water

Step 2
Stir the chocolate until half is melted, then remove it from the simmering water, and continue stirring until smooth and completely melted. Transfer the melted chocolate to a small container, then set it aside, take the coconut mixture out of the freezer, and cut it into 12 even pieces. Using a fondue pick or fork, dip each coconut bar into the melted chocolate until fully coated, then place them on a flat plate, and let them chill in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
