We can all agree that almost everyone loves chocolate or chocolate-flavored desserts, including me! Whether it’s cake, ice cream, or just chocolate itself, I can never say no, and imagine my delight when I found out that making truffles at home only takes 2 ingredients and a few minutes to prepare. Making my own chocolate is way cheaper than store-bought and I can have as many serving as I want. Do you want to give this recipe by Savor Easy on YouTube a try, too? Go ahead, you’ll love it for sure!
Step 1
Place a saucepan on a stove over medium heat, then add the condensed milk, and stir it around continuously with a whisk. Once it starts to simmer, turn off the heat and remove the saucepan from the stove, then gradually add the unsweetened pure cocoa powder, and whisk them together until incorporated and well combined. Once you’ve added all of the cocoa powder, switch to a spatula, then fold the mixture around until smooth, and transfer it to a dish lined with greased wax or parchment paper making sure that it is overlapping on the side of the dish.

Step 2
Push the mixture in the middle of the paper as shown in the video, then wrap the paper around the mixture, and place it inside the refrigerator to set for at least 2 hours. Once ready, remove the chocolate from the fridge and unwrap the paper nicely, then place the chocolate on top of a cocoa powder-dusted surface, and dust the top as well before slicing it into small bite-sized pieces. Grab a piece of chocolate, then roll it in your palm into a ball, and dredge it in more cocoa powder. Repeat this step with the rest of the chocolate, then transfer to a serving plate, serve, and enjoy!
