Generously grease your ramekin with softened butter and dust it with white sugar. Set it aside. Next, melt 1 tbsp butter in a small saucepan over medium-low heat, then add 1 tbsp all-purpose flour. Whisk it for about a minute until combined, then add 1/2 cup of cold milk. Mix until the mixture slightly thickens. Once done, pour it into the bowl where the 100 g dark chocolate is. Add a pinch of salt and 1/2 tsp vanilla essence. Mix it well until the chocolate fully melts. Next, add 1 egg yolk to the chocolate mixture and two egg whites in a separate bowl. Mix in the egg yolk until it fully combines.

Whisk the egg whites until frothy, then add 3 tbsp sugar gradually while whisking continually until firm peaks. After this, gently whisk in one-third of the beaten egg whites into the chocolate mixture, then fold in the remaining beaten egg whites until just combined. Transfer the mixture to the prepared ramekin and place it on a baking tray. Bake it at 400 degrees F preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes. Dust the top with some cocoa powder before serving.
