When it comes to snacks, I always love deliciously fried churros served along with a refreshing drink! Every time I crave them, my go-to recipe is this one by HidaMari Cooking on YouTube. These yummy churros are surprisingly easy and simple to prepare, plus, they are dredged in a sweet and yummy sugar-cinnamon mixture, and they also come with a rich chocolate dip. So if you need a treat that you can make easily and quickly without using too many ingredients, then look no further, and try this out now.
Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, sift over the cake flour and bread flour, and set it aside. In a medium-sized saucepan, add the sugar, salt, water, and vegetable oil, then place the saucepan on a stove over medium-high heat, and stir them together until melted and thoroughly combined. Once the sugar mixture starts to become bubbly, turn off the heat, then pour the sugar on the flour mixture, and using a spatula, mix them all together until well combined. Add the egg and mix until incorporated, then transfer it to a piping bag, and line a baking sheet placed upside down with parchment paper.

Step 2
Start piping the churros as shown in the video or into whatever shape you desire, then heat up the oil in a deep pan to 170°C or 338°F, and deep fry the churros in batches to not overcrowd the pan. Fry them for about 2 minutes per side until crispy and golden brown, then in a mixing bowl, stir together the sugar and cinnamon until uniform, and dredge the fried churros until well coated making sure to allow the oil to evaporate before dredging. Fill a large bowl with hot water, then place the bowl of chocolate on top, and stir it around until melted. Add the vegetable oil and continue to stir until uniform and incorporated, then serve it on the sides of the dredged churros, and enjoy!
