This sweet dessert by One Little Recipe on YouTube is the perfect candy recipe if you’re looking for something quick, easy, inexpensive, and at the same time super yummy! I love making this recipe with leftover chocolate chips from previous baking, so I make sure to stock some mini pretzel twists on my pantry, just in case I plan to make these yummy bars.
Step 1
Line your baking sheet with aluminum foil, then spray it with a non-stick cooking spray, and then preheat your oven to 325°F. Place the pretzels on the prepared baking sheet, then arrange them in a single layer until the sheet is completely covered. Place a small pot on a stove over medium-low heat, then add the butter and sugar, whisk them together and let them melt. Bring it to a boil, then continue boiling it for about 3 minutes while stirring constantly. Pour the bubbling mixture all over the pretzels.

Step 2
Put it in the preheated oven, then let it bake at 325°F for about 8 to 10 minutes or until the caramel is bubbling and spread out on the sheet and the pretzels. Remove the baking sheet from the oven, then sprinkle the chocolate chips all over the top evenly, and then put it back on the oven to bake for another 1 to 2 minutes or until the chocolate chips have softened. Spread the melted chocolate evenly using a spatula, then put it in the fridge, and let it freeze for about 30 minutes. Remove the pretzel bars from the baking sheet and peel off the foil at the back, then start cutting it into squares, and serve.
