On days when I don’t have much time on my hands, I always look for fast and delicious recipes that I can easily prepare before I start my day. I still have some canned chicken left in my pantry that I wanted to use, so I searched for some dishes with this as the main ingredient. And I have found the perfect recipe – it’s the easy and cheesy canned chicken patties by Casual Cooking on Youtube! I am not the best cook, but the steps were super easy to follow, so I gave it a shot. Surprisingly, it was so good! I super love the crispy texture on the outside and the gooeyness on the inside. Open the canned chicken and drain the liquid. Make sure to remove as much as you can, then put it in a bowl. Add the cheddar cheese and egg to the chicken. Mix everything using a fork. Mash the chicken as you mix all the ingredients.
Shape the mixture into patties using your hands. You can make 3 big patties with 1 can of chicken, but you can make them any size you want.
Place a large pan over medium-high heat and drizzle some olive oil. Heat the oil for 1 minute. Once hot, place the patties into the pan and let them cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until brown and crispy.
Once the patties are cooked, place them on a plate with paper towels. Get some more paper towels and press on the patties to remove the grease left. Serve on a plate. Enjoy!
