Step 1
Boil your noodles in a pot filled with beef stock to level up the pasta’s flavor, then warm your cast iron skillet on the stove over medium heat, and add 4-5 pieces of thick-cut bacon, cook them until golden brown and crispy. Then, remove the bacon and transfer to a plate lined with a paper towel to drain the excess oil, then set aside. Using the same pan, remove the bacon fat and leave only about 1-2 teaspoons, then cook the ground beef. Season it with all-purpose seasoning (or mix salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder together), then add smoked paprika or whatever seasoning you have in your pantry. Break and brown the beef, add oil if needed.

Step 2
Then add in the chopped onion and bell pepper, mix together until well combined, cook them until the veggies are tender and soft. Add in the garlic paste, sun-dried tomatoes, dijon mustard, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, beef bouillon, and red pepper flakes, give them a good mix until well combined. Pour in the beef broth, then let it simmer and reduce. Once it has thickened to desired consistency, add the boiled pasta to the mixture, fold, and taste to adjust the flavor to preference, mix well to coat the noodles completely. Next, add in the chopped bacon and half of the shredded cheese mixture onto the beef, then once the cheese has melted, add in the remaining cheese mixture. Pop your skillet in the oven and bake it at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes or until the cheese becomes brown and bubbly.
