Have you ever experienced waking up hungry and you want to make breakfast, but you have limited ingredients and you don’t know what to do with them? If you have cheese, eggs, and mushrooms available in your kitchen, then you can prepare this tasty breakfast recipe by Recipes to Connect on YouTube.

Ingredients:

  • 6 pieces of egg
  • 100 grams or 1¼ cup of preferred cheese
  • 250 grams or 2 cups of mushrooms
  • Olive oil

Optional addition

  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Butter
  • Garlic

Directions:

Step 1

After cleaning the mushrooms, slice them, and transfer them to a plate, then set them aside. Break the eggs into a large mixing bowl, then season it with salt to taste, and whisk well to combine. Add some olive oil in between mixing and continue to whisk until frothy and fully combined. Place a large pan on a stove over medium-high heat, then heat up some oil, and add the finely chopped garlic. Give it a good toss and let cook for a few seconds, then add the sliced mushrooms followed by any preferred spice, and give them a good toss so that it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pan.

Step 2

Sprinkle the grated cheese all over the top, then carefully mix them to combine, once the bottom is nice and cooked, grab a plate, put it on top of the pan, and flip it to transfer the egg mixture upside down. Next, carefully slide and put the egg mixture back into the pan, then let it cook for a few seconds, and turn off the heat. Let the remaining heat cook the egg mixture through before transferring it to the plate upside down, then serve, and enjoy!
