Castor oil is a very helpful ingredient that is commonly used to improve and stimulate hair growth, but did you know that this is also helpful in relieving muscle and joint pain? What’s even better is the fact that this is very easy to find and is also inexpensive! There are a lot of other ways to use castor oil and you can learn them with this video tutorial by Natural Cures on YouTube.
#1: Accelerate Wound Healing
Applying castor oil to your wound improves the healing process as it stimulates tissue growth while adding a protective barrier to your skin to reduce the risk of infections at the same time.
#2: Eliminates Warts
Castor oil has antibacterial and antifungal properties that are very helpful in treating warts and restoring the skin at the same time. First, you have to wash the wart area thoroughly, then using a cotton swab, apply the castor oil to the wart, and do this 3 times a day. It may take 3 days to 3 weeks before it finally works, this is also effective in treating and dissolving calluses in feet and hands.

#3: Treats Joint Pains
Castor oil also has analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties which are helpful for treating arthritis and tendonitis. If you are experiencing arthritis, simply massage that region with castor oil twice a week for better results. Castor oil helps reduce inflammation and relieve pain when applied topically.
#4: Good for Treating Nails
Applying castor oil can help improve brittle nails and dry cuticles as it moisturizes and combats the negative effects of cleaning products and disinfectants on your hands. For this to work, you cannot apply it directly to the skin and it should be diluted with a carrier oil such as coconut or olive oil with a 1:1 ratio. It is also not recommended to expose it to the sun after using castor oil.
