Bacon is used in a variety of recipes from salad to main dishes, but did you know that you can make a candy out of them, too? Yes, you read that right, candied bacon crackers are a treat that you shouldn’t miss out on! Although it sounds strange to you, it’s a thing and it’s pretty popular because it does taste good and even addicting that you just couldn’t stop eating one after another.

These candied bacon crackers would be great for parties or while watching your favorite game or show with your family or friends. You can also be a bit more extra by adding some toppings of your choice on each cracker to balance out or complement the sweet and savory taste. Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F, then line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil, and place a wire rack on top.
Step 2
Slice the bacon strips into thirds or fourths, use your crackers to cut it to the right size, then arrange the crackers on the prepared wire rack, and make sure to space them apart evenly.
Step 3
Place a piece of bacon over each cracker making sure to line up the edges nicely, then sprinkle brown sugar on top about 1 heaping teaspoon per cracker, and sprinkle some cayenne and black pepper over.
Step 4
Place them in the preheated, then let them bake for about 15 to 20 minutes until the sugar starts to melt and the bacon becomes crisp, and let the crackers cool and harden. Serve and enjoy!
