Macaroni salad is just simply delicious and it can make any dish 10 times more delicious than they already are. One of my go-to recipes when it comes to macaroni salad is this one by April in the kitchen on YouTube because it’s very simple and easy to prepare, and I love that it has lots of veggies which are my favorite, too. Try it out yourself and see what the hype is all about!
Ingredients:
- 16 ounces of large elbow macaroni
- All-purpose seasoning or salt, pepper, and garlic powder, to taste
- 3 stalks of celery, diced
- 1 small red onion, diced
- Red and green bell pepper, diced
- 8 ounces of frozen sweet peas, optional
- 2-3 cups of mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar
- ½ cup of sweet relish
- 3 tbsp of sugar
- 1 carrot, grated
- Ham, diced
- 2 tbsp of mustard
- 6 boiled eggs, diced
Directions:
Step 1
Dice and chop all of the ingredients needed and set them aside, then boil some water in a large pot, and add salt. Add the pasta to the boiling water, then add in a garlic clove as well, and stir them around periodically. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions or desired doneness, then drain off all the water, and transfer them to a large bowl.

Step 2
While the pasta is still hot, season it with all-purpose seasoning or with salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste, then give them a good toss to combine, and add the sugar, sweet pickle relish, yellow mustard, apple cider vinegar, and white vinegar.
Step 3
Mix them all together until well combined, then add the celery, carrots, bell peppers, and ham, then give them a good toss to combine, add the eggs, and continue to mix them all together. Cover the bowl, then place it in the refrigerator, and let them chill for about 1 to 2 hours. Add more mayonnaise if you want, then serve, and enjoy!
