All you need are simple supplies and items that you may already have available. Watch this video tutorial by Jonny DIY on YouTube and learn how to clean your grill easily and conveniently even if you are away from home and have limited cleaning supplies. I hope you find this cleaning hack as useful and effective as I did.
Step 1
A pro tip that you should keep in mind is to keep a handy wire brush and scrub your grill before and after using it. Saturate the whole grill by spraying a generous amount of vinegar, then scrub well, if you don’t have a wire brush, you can use a crumpled piece of aluminum foil instead, and use it to scrub the grates well.
Step 2
You can also substitute vinegar with lemon, then cut it in half, and press the cut side down a lot of salt. Scrub the lemon over the grates of the grill, the acid of the lemon and the grit of salt will help break down the grease and grime, then keep adding salt as needed, and use the wire brush or foil ball to clean the leftover lemon on the grill.
Step 3
For gas grills, you can super clean it by setting it all the way to high, then keep the lid shut, and allow it to bake for about 15 to 20 minutes, this method will turn the grime and grease to ash. As you brush the grill, spray it with water to loosen up the grease, this will also help rinse the grill at the same time, and you’re done!
