Step 1
Preheat your oven to 375°F, then grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray, and set it aside. Place a large skillet on a stove over medium heat, then add the diced onion, poblano pepper, and bell pepper, and saute them for about 3 to 4 minutes or until softened. Add the shredded chicken, give them a good mix to combine, and add the taco seasoning followed by the green chilies and chicken broth.
Step 2
Mix them thoroughly, then let them simmer for about 5 to 7 minutes or until well combined and heated, making sure to stir occasionally. Place the hard shell tacos in the prepared baking dish, ensuring they are standing right up, then, fill them evenly with the mixture, and sprinkle a generous amount of shredded cheese on top.
Step 3
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven, then let the tacos bake for about 10 to 12 minutes or until the cheese has melted and bubbly. Once done baking, remove them from the oven, then let them cool slightly, and top them with whatever toppings you want. Serve and enjoy!
