You can also personalize this gift by adding a name anywhere you see fit or changing the color and print of the fabric set used here. For now, learn the steps to quilting this piece by reading the instructions written below, and make sure to watch the video tutorial as well for more details.
Step 1
Download and print the pattern, then cut out the little squares pieces, and cut out each of the fabric. Use the little paper you cut out to label each fabric so you don’t get confused later. For the little car applique, place some fusible on the back of the car and the wheels, then fuse them down the fabric block, and topstitch around the edges.
Step 2
For the curve block, find their midpoint and mark them on the wrong side of the fabric, then line them up to form the block, and pin them all over the edges making sure no wrinkles are forming. Slowly stitch the pieces together starting with the larger ones first, then make sure to remove the pins as you go, and proceed to piece the smaller ones using the same steps.
Step 3
Now, work on the double curve block, use the same steps as you did when you piece the single curve block, then once done, put all of the blocks together making sure to refer to the pattern guide for accuracy. Stitch them per row, then the rows to each other, and finish your quilt however you want.
