  • 2 cooked chicken breasts, sliced into small chunks
  • 1 green apple, de-cored and diced
  • 2 stalks of celery, diced
  • ½ red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped chives, finely chopped
  • ⅓ cup of pecan halves
  • ½ cup of mayonnaise
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • ½ teaspoon of onion powder

Directions:

Step 1

Cook the chicken breasts, then drain off the excess moisture before using it on the salad. Slice the chicken breasts into small chunks or bite-sized pieces. Remove the core of an apple, then dice it, and set it aside. Dice the celery stalks and set them aside, finely chop the red onion and the chives, then put it in a large mixing bowl.
