Apple cider is not only very delicious but also beneficial to one’s health, it is a fruity drink that is extracted from apples, and you can enjoy it either warm or chilled. Apple cider can be bought from the store and varies in price depending on the brand, but if you have some whole apples and oranges at home, then you can just make one from scratch.

Homemade apple cider is easier to prepare than you think because all you have to do is boil them, then extract the juices, and season them with cinnamon, allspice, cloves, and nutmeg. What I love even more about making this apple cider at home is that it makes my kitchen smell incredible that I don’t even want to leave! Step 1
Wash and clean the fruits, then cut the apples and oranges, and add them to a large pot. Add the whole cloves, cinnamon stick, allspice, and nutmeg, then cover them with water, and turn the heat to high. Heat them until simmering, then continue to simmer for about 2 hours or until the apples are very soft, and then mash the apples and oranges against the side of the pot.
Step 2
Cover the pot with the lid, then let the mixture continue to simmer for about 1 more hour, and turn off the heat. Carefully strain the mixture with cheesecloth or a fine mesh strainer, then make sure to press the solids against the strainer to get out all of the juices, and then discard the solids. Add the brown sugar according to taste, then give them a good mix until dissolved and combined, and serve warm or chilled. Enjoy!
