Who doesn’t like apple desserts? Especially those that are so easy to make, like these apple biscuit cups from Delish Food on Youtube. I’m telling you, these are one of the best desserts I’ve tasted; I mean, it’s so easy to put together and only need Pillsbury biscuits for the base. You have to try this recipe if you love apples like me or if you just have lots of apples you don’t know what to do with. Ingredients:

  • 1 can of buttermilk biscuits
  • 2 apples
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

For the filling:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/8 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

For the topping:

  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened

Directions:

Step 1

Chop your apples into cubes, transfer them to a mixing bowl, then add 1 tbsp lemon juice. Mix well, then set aside. Next, add 3/4 cup water, 1 cup sugar, 1/8 cup cornstarch, and 1/2 tsp cinnamon in a saucepan. Mix well over low heat. Once it starts boiling, add the apples and let it cook for fifteen minutes. In another bowl, combine 1/2 cup oats, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 cup all-purpose flour, and 1/4 cup softened butter. Mix well to combine and set aside.

Step 2

Slightly roll out each Pillsbury biscuit and place them into each muffin cup, covering the bottom and the sides. Poke some holes using a fork into each biscuit cup, then put 2 tbsp of the apple mixture in each of them. After this, sprinkle some oat crumbs over the top. Bake for fifteen to twenty minutes or until golden. Serve and enjoy!
