  • ½ teaspoon of garlic powder

  • ¼ teaspoon of chili powder

Bacon Jalapeno Poppers

  • 6 pieces of jalapeños
  • 4 ounces of cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup of grated cheddar cheese or any cheese
  • ¼ teaspoon of onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon of garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon of chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon of salt, or to taste
  • 6-12 slices of bacon, depending on how much bacon you prefer
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Cooking spray

Directions:

Stuffed Mushrooms

Remove the stems of the mushrooms, then dice the stems, and set them aside. In a large mixing bowl, mix the cream cheese, garlic powder, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper together until smooth. Fold in half of the diced stems and mix until well combined. Spray the mushroom heads with cooking oil spray, then fill each piece with the cream cheese mixture evenly. Place the mushrooms in the air fryer basket in a single layer and in batches if you’re cooking a lot so that you do not overcrowd them. Cook them at 360°F or 180°C for about 6 to 8 minutes depending on the mushrooms’ size. Top them with grated cheese then air fry them for 1 to 2 more minutes or until the cheese has completely melted. Let them cool slightly then garnish with minced parsley. Best served warm or at room temperature.

Bacon Jalapeno Poppers

After washing the jalapenos well, cut them in half lengthwise, and scrape out the seeds and ribs, then set them aside. In a mixing bowl, mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, onion powder, garlic powder, chili powder, and salt together until they are smooth and well combined. Fill each half of the jalapeno with the cream cheese mixture, slice each slice of bacon in half lengthwise, then wrap them around each filled jalapeno. Sprinkle the top with black pepper, then lay them in the air fryer basket in a single layer and in batches if you’re cooking a lot so that you do not overcrowd them. Cook them at 380°F or 193°C for about 10 to 12 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and the peppers are tender or cooked to your preference. Best served warm or at room temperature.
