Nowadays, social media has become a good source of various information and videos ranging from entertainment, to informative, and more! One of my favorite apps to use would be TikTok and YouTube, I usually watch cooking or recipe videos that are very easy to make, inexpensive, and pretty quick to prepare. The most recent recipe that’s going viral these days is air-fried corn ribs that can be made in as fast as 10 minutes. It is very difficult to choose 1 recipe among all those available online, but luckily I found this video tutorial by Easy Peasy Pan on YouTube, which in my opinion, is the best among the rest!

  • 1 cob of corn, cut into quarters
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil or vegetable oil
  • ½ tsp of garlic powder
  • ½ tsp of paprika
  • ½ tsp of salt
  • ½ tsp of black pepper
  • 1 tbsp of butter, melted
  • Parsley, chopped

Step 1

The first thing you need to do is to remove the husk of the corn, then try to cut it into 4 pieces lengthwise, but be very careful as this could get really difficult. You can either cut off the tip so you can stand it up flatly, then slice it straight down or you can just skip this too and cook the corn whole. Also, note that this recipe is good for 1 serving only, so double the recipe if you want to make more.

Step 2

In a small mixing bowl or cup, mix together the olive oil or vegetable oil, then add the garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt. Stir them all together until well combined. Then, brush this seasoning into the corn slices generously. Place them in the air fryer, then cook them at 200 degrees Celsius for about 10 minutes. After cooking the corn, brush it with melted butter, and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve and enjoy!
