Don’t you just love curved patterns? I think they are fun and exciting. Some people draw away from them since they are not that easy to make. But there are actually some curved quilt patterns that are beginner-friendly, just like this drunkard’s path II quilt by Missouri Star. It may look complex at first glance, but trust me, it is very simple. You’ll be amazed how easily it comes together.

Did you know that there are different patterns that you can make with this block? Yes, there are plenty of designs out there that you can try. This design that Jenny Doan made is just one of those beautiful patterns you can create. Just search online and you will find the others. You can also experiment and see if you can make new patterns. Get one white layer cake and iron onto heat and bond. Fold it in half. Place the circle-cut ruler on top and line it in the fold. Cut the circle.
Peel it off and place it in the center of 10″ square. You can fold them in quarters to find the center. Iron it and make sure it sticks to the square. Hold it on there for just a few seconds.
Use a blanket stitch to sew around the outside edge. You can use a zigzag stitch, or you can straight stitch it.
Take a ruler and cut the square in half horizontally and vertically.
Lay the blocks just like in the photo below. Sew in rows first, once done, sew the rows together.
