This Dr. Pepper brownie recipe by Southern Sassy Mama on YouTube only takes 5 ingredients to make. It’s a great recipe for those that love Dr. Pepper. I know that Dr.Pepper works well with chocolate and it’s a secret ingredient that somehow keeps the baked good moist. Brownies are my favorite baked dessert because they do not require a lot of ingredients to make and I have most ingredients in my pantry. I love baking and I love how it does not require butter since I’m out of it most times. However, this brownie reminds me of a cake too because the consistency is not fudge-like. This brownie recipe requires stirring all of the ingredients together and baking. Plus, you can make this healthier by using diet Dr. Pepper and low sugar. Use boxed brownie mix if you want it to be an easier recipe.

Overall, this is an easy brownie recipe that’s inexpensive to make. I know that soda makes a lot of baked goods moist because I’ve made a Mountain Dew lemon pound cake and it was super tasty. I’ve made a chocolate cake with Dr. Pepper before, but not in a brownie form so this recipe reminds me of a cake. It’s interesting to see how soda works well with baking. It makes a great hit every time and the soda adds additional flavor.
